Gigi

Gigi

After a long search Becky and I added a new member to our household, Gigi.  Gigi is a rescue pup, female, 14-weeks old, and about twenty pounds.  She will get larger.  We guess that she will get to be at least 50 pounds and maybe much more.  Her mother is a Border Collie.  Typically, her father skipped town to avoid puppy support and we are not entirely certain about his identity.  Her littermates looked like Newfoundlands so it is possible that dad was packing a lot of Newfie in him.  Gigi has short hair (maybe her mom is a short-haired Border Collie?) and webbed feet that makes her genetic identity even more confusing.

Gigi is very attentive and sweet.  Her adjustment to the new house and new house rules has been fast.  I’m sure that we will have to adjust to her rules when she starts herding us around the house.

We could never replace our old friend Nick but at least there’s a new pup to occupy his big pads.

More pictures of Gigi have been posted to Picasa.

It's so hard to be a puppy
